Loving One Another

Pope Francis has written a letter to everyone, asking us to reach out to our sisters and brothers in need, whoever they are, wherever they may come from. We are all challenged to think of ourselves as a single global family living in a common home, and neighbours to all.

World Mental Health Day 2020/ Children's Mental Health Week.

To raise awareness and funds for Young Minds, we took part in World Mental Health Day 2020 on Friday 9th October 2020 by coming into school wearing something yellow. The children took part in some yoga, were given aome well-being tips and took part in wellbeing activities in school throughout the week.

Anti-Bullying Week activities - Odd Socks Day/ Wear Blue for Well-Being Day

We began the week by wearing odd socks—a reminder that we are all different and that we should celebrate these differences.
We then finished the week by wearing Blue for Well-Being. We understand how bullying can affect emotional health. We thought about wearing blue to help boost emotional wellbeing and how we should love each other, despite our differences.

Birthday Parties

We know that the children missed out on celebrating their birthdays this year due to the pandemic. We decided that we celebrate every child's birthday in style at the end of each term throughout the year. Each child received a little gift and cupcake and the whole class had a party to celebrate each other's birthdays.

A surprise treat from FOSA.

As a big thank you for all the hard work from children and staff, we thought it would be a nice treat to hire an ice- cream van to come to school. It was thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed by all.
