Prayer Group/ Rosary Group

Our prayer group is led by Mrs Ferguson and the schools Prayer Ambassadors. A quite, reflective atmosphere is created in the classroom through the use of a focus table,which changes according to the church's seasons and candles. The children have beautiful wooden tactile crosses to hold or rosary beads. As well as praying for the people and animals on the school's prayer request cards, the children learn about different Saints; how to say the Rosary and the Stations of the Cross; learn traditional prayers and write their own prayers. They often do a simple craft to take home to remind them of the focus of the day's session.
